Getting Started

I've recently started to paint and one of the free online classes I'm working through suggested starting a blog to serve as a timeline for my work. So here we are!

My first project was a oil painting of my son Seth. I worked off an infant photo. In the photo he's about 12 days old. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

My second project is a painting of my daughter. I worked from a photo of her in Mexico (as you can she she's sporting a nice sunburn). In the photo she's about 10 months old.

That's all for now. I think I might try painting some birds next or maybe an elderly person..
